Eric Cheung
View BioEric is the lead instructor for Wall Street Prep’s Capital Markets and Sales & Trading programs. Eric’s financial markets career began after he was a finalist for J.P. Morgan’s Fantasy Futures trading competition. Eric worked at J.P. Morgan for 10 years across DCM, Syndicate and Sales & Trading Roles, including in the Cross Asset Sales & Structuring group with trade execution experience across all asset classes. Eric is an expert in International Markets and Cross-Border transactions with global work experience in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. -
Hugo Faria
View BioHugo Faria is an Instructor for Wall Street Prep’s Capital Markets and Sales & Trading programs. Hugo has 30 years of financial markets experience, having held leadership positions at Citibank, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, UBS and Standard Chartered. At these firms Hugo either built or turned-around regional and global exposure management and structured trading businesses. Working in a range of analytical, transactional and managerial roles his career includes substantial stints in the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia. Since 2017 Hugo has focused full-time on the education sector. This phase of his career included working at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, where Hugo was initially SEO’s Vice President responsible for the college program and later Chief Operating Officer. At Autentike Advisors Hugo is active in a range of projects with other educational organizations. Hugo holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a master’s degree from Columbia University. -
Shruti Garodia
View BioShruti Garodia has over 12 years of capital markets experience with BNP Paribas. She started her career in New York in quantitative credit and market risk, covering the credit trading portfolio during the Financial Crisis of 2008. She then transferred to BNPP’s London office, handling risk portfolios during the European Sovereign Crisis of 2010. In the aftermath of the global liquidity and collateral crisis, Shruti worked closely with senior management to spearhead the complete restructuring and implementation of collateral policies for BNP Paribas globally. She then took on the role of COO for BNPP's Repo Sales & Trading desk. Shruti graduated from Cornell University with a degree in statistics and engineering and has a Certificate in Quantitative Finance. Shruti is also a best-selling author with over 50,000 copies sold of a two-volume book on Indian history. -
Alan Chao
View BioAlan Chao has over 20 years of sell-side and buy-side experience in the financial markets. He was formerly a Senior Vice President at Macquarie Capital, where he served as a desk analyst (and interim trader) for the Credit Sales & Trading team. Prior to Macquarie, Alan was a Portfolio Manager and Head of the Investment Committee with Canaras Capital Management, an alternative asset hedge fund focused on high yield securities, structured products and distressed opportunities. Alan has also previously worked as a Sales & Trading Associate at Citigroup Global Markets and as a Credit Analyst at Invesco. He started his career with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust & Banking. Alan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a BS in Economics from the Wharton School, and a BAS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. -
Bill Addiss
View BioBill is a capital markets professional for over 30 years with Lehman Brothers and its predecessor firms. During that time, he served as National Sales Manager for Fixed Income for both EF Hutton and Shearson Lehman. In 2006, he resigned from Lehman as a Managing Director/Executive Vice President to provide fixed income and capital markets training to financial institutions worldwide. Since 2006, he has provided capital markets training to buy-side, sell-side, regulatory authorities and central banks worldwide. Bill is a finance graduate of Fairfield University and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. -
Michelle Behrend
View BioMichelle Behrend is an instructor for Wall Street Prep’s Capital Markets and Sales & Trading programs. Michelle has 15 years experience as a credit trader at HSBC and BNP Paribas. At BNP Paribas, she was the business sponsor of the Global Markets Internship and Analyst programs responsible for overhauling training, recruitment, and acculturation of young professionals. She is a financial career consultant at Tulane University, helping financially passionate students prepare for their future career pursuits. She founded MBehr Investments, a financial and managerial strategy consulting and investment firm, and Bubbles and Bass, an event production and community organization. -
Italo Lombardi
View BioItalo Lombardi has held several roles in different Investment Banks in New York, including BNP Paribas, Standard Chartered, and Credit Agricole. As an economist specialized in Emerging Markets, Italo worked as Senior Economist for Latin America at BNP Paribas during a period of fast expansion of their franchise throughout the region. As a Director, and later as an Executive Director, Italo led the Latin America Research team at Standard Charter, playing an important role bridging the bank's growing capabilities in South America with increased interest in that geography by European and Asian clients. At Credit Agricole Italo had a crucial role enhancing the coverage for the Corporate and Institutional client base producing important cross-asset research notes and presentations key during elevated political and economic uncertainties. Before joining the banking sector Italo worked as Emerging Markets economist at Roubini Global Economics, and earlier at Idea Global, two leading consulting firms. -
Steve Cosham
View BioStephen has been involved with financial training for 21 years, having trained at a variety of institutions across 37 countries as well as written distance learning programs relating to financial markets and transaction banking in association with numerous academic institutions. Stephen is a recent fellow of the London Institute of Banking & Finance. Prior to his training career, he had a 23 year career in banking, 14 years of which were overseas. This included the Merchant Banking Group of Marine Midland Bank, (now HSBC), for whom he established a NY trading desk for syndicated loans. He also worked at Citibank, initially on the Emerging Markets sales desk before transferring to Hong Kong to establish an Asian Emerging Markets sales desk and finally, returning to London to manage Citigroup’s Emerging Markets market syndicate desk. -
Kavi Berns
View BioKavi is an award-winning debt finance banker with 20+ years of extensive international experience in Tier 1 banks including Citibank, BNP Paribas, Barclays and Lloyds in debt capital markets origination, derivatives, treasury, financial sponsors and regulatory projects across UK, Europe and Asia. Having worked on the sell-side (as Director, Financial Institutions) and as a client in Treasury (as Senior Manager, Funding & Liquidity) before and after the financial crisis, Kavi brings a unique end-to-end perspective on key issues in capital markets and debt structuring. She has trained and provided consulting services to a wide range of global banks, fintech firms, banking regulators and universities. Kavi has an MBA in Finance from London Business School and a 1st Class Hons Degree in Finance & Strategy from the National University of Singapore. She is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. -
Marcin Krolikowski
View BioMarcin has taught investments at both the undergraduate and MBA levels for over a decade. He is currently an Associate Professor of Finance at Providence College. Previously, Marcin worked for Citigroup on their Emerging Markets Desk, trading primarily fixed income instruments. Marcin received his PhD in Finance from the University of South Florida and his MBA in Finance and Corporate Accounting from the University of Rochester. -
Pete Boukouzis
View BioPete is currently the Business Chair and Assistant Professor of Business at the University of Saint Katherine outside of San Diego, California and also provides consulting services on a variety of strategic matters, including valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation. Pete retired after an 18-year career as M&A investment banker where he most recently led U.S. Energy M&A at BMO Capital Markets in Houston, Texas and served as a member of the firm’s fairness committee. Before joining BMO, Pete worked at UBS and Rothschild, Inc. in New York. Pete started his career as a chemical engineer in the oil and gas industry. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and an MBA with concentrations in accounting, economics, and finance form the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. -
